Project Goals

 

Shaqodoon is providing UNICEF with a robust SMS gateway that connects it SMS applications to all Somali telecommunications companies. UNICEF is using the service to have direct access to its beneficiaries, collecting information and data that will better help them improve and attend to the needs the communities.

 

Key Activities

 

  • Development of SMS/Voice based platform to empower citizens

  • Promoting Accountability and Transparency program delivery

  • Results: Established a mechanism for people to air their voices in program delivery
