Shaqodoon Organization: Shaqodoon,
Somali word for ' Job-Seeker' is an off-shoot of the 'highly rated'
former EDC 'Somali Youth Livelihood Program' funded by USAID that
provided Somali youth with greater opportunities to skill trainings,
access to work, internship and self-employment opportunities. Shaqodoon
organization is registered in Somaliland, Puntland, Galmudug and South
Central zone, having offices in Hargeisa and Mogadishu.
The NGO continues skill trainings programs, prepare and link ‘Shaqodoon’ with
the local business community, other potential employers and over and
above encourage the youth to inculcate an entrepreneurial culture. In
addition, Shaqodoon will continue working in education and conflict
resolutions using a variety of effective methodologies embedded with
Shaqodoon InfoMatch system....
